The Utopic Shangri-La in Guilin

Though a tad of a non-sequitor, it's time to post some pics from the magical Shangri-La in Guilin Province. Though, sequentially, I was there during my stay in Yangshuo, somehow, I did not get to compile the shots until now. Better late than never - this crafts village on the water is well worth the blog space.

There is a circular "lake" in the middle of the village, and visitors are taken around by boat. Many buildings and pathways are on the water [on "stilts"]. The ancient totems guard the sacred space.
