Given the blip in my connectivity [given by my computer charger's sudden premature retirement], I'm posting an avalanche of backed-up blogs/pix.

Much has happened during the cyber-pause.

Here - Van Vieng pix [Laos]. The "paradise-lost" - once a picturesque village amidst the limestone karsts turned spring-break-like party place/tubing central americanized into oblivion. I had to change bungalows 3 times just to get away from the tireless thumpa-thumpa of the center-island.
