Khmer Cleansing Ritual and Wat

The locals go to this remarkably decorated Wat for a bi-yearly cleansing. Sheets are wrapped around the naked bodies and sacred water is splashed upon them by a priest reading holy mantras for abundance in every way of life. Many do this ritual to protect from an evil spell or other unholy sourcery.
